About us
The owners bought the house in 2011 and have lovingly renovated and furnished it themselves, incorporating traditional French styles alongside modern classics.. They love the Luberon region and enjoy regular holidays here with their family. The house is managed by a local couple who are on hand to help with questions and who have an extensive knowledge of the area.
Where is Mas de Grivet ?
Mas de Grivet is located near the village of Céreste-en-Luberon (postcode 04280), in the Luberon natural park. The village is just five minutes away by car and has a small but well stocked supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a pharmacy and a handful of restaurants and bars. There is a small weekly market of local produce on a Thursday morning. The market towns of Apt and Focalquier are 20 minutes away by car, with a range of large supermarkets, shops and services, restaurants, cafes and bars.
The nearest airport is Marseille, which is just a one hour twenty minute drive away, or Nice airport is two and a half hours.
It is a 60 minute drive from the TGV station at Aix – or 90 minutes to Avignon – the TGV from Paris takes around 3 hours. You can take a direct TGV from central Paris (Gare de Lyon) or from Charles-de-Gaulle airport. The Eurostar from London comes into Avignon via Lille.
You will need a car to access the house and enjoy your time in the Luberon. If you would prefer not to hire your own car then transfers and tours can be arranged with local providers, although please do allow plenty of time to make these arrangements.

In low season the house can be rented with only four bedrooms (up to 8 guests) at a discounted rate – contact us to discuss.

The property sleeps 12 maximum. There are six double bedrooms, four of which can be split into twins.
There are also two baby beds.
Children are very welcome, providing they are supervised, particularly around the pool and fountain. We have two travel cots and highchairs available for your use. The pool has a solid cover. There are no baby-gates.
Yes, we have fibre-optic broadband providing fast WiFi6 in the house, and many of the rooms also have the option to connect directly with a cable. So you can catch up on the latest Netflix series, or even do some work (if you have to!).
There are two downstairs bedrooms, one of which has a walk in shower.
There are a couple of small steps between rooms on the ground floor and three steps down to the pool area.
The pool is available for use from the start of May through to the end of October. The fee for heating it is 28€/night.
