The large salon is full of light – thanks to the tall portes fenetres (French windows) and it’s full of character. The high, beamed ceiling and the old stone walls make sure of that. You can be certain that there’s always a comfortable chair for everyone – whether you’re dining in style, relaxing with a book, or engaging the family in board games.

Food for thought . . .
Located at the centre of the house, the spacious kitchen leads directly onto both the South Courtyard and East Terrace, as well as giving access to the salon. It’s the perfect place to whip up breakfast, prepare a sumptuous dinner or just relax with family and friends. Why not hire a local chef or caterer to cook for you at home (and do the dishes!)

The kitchen’s homely appearance, with a traditional provençal ceiling, original wooden beams, large fireplace and copper pans hides the carefully thought-out, ultra-modern, facilities that make cooking at Grivet a real pleasure.
The local markets are a never-ending source of excellent, tasty produce to bring home and enjoy.
Space to breathe . . .
There are many outside spaces to enjoy at Grivet. The courtyard, which faces due south, is a real suntrap. There are sofas and chairs beneath shady umbrellas – and a table for alfresco dining in the cool of a summer evening. Large grassed areas on three sides of the house give space for children to run around and let off steam, and the gravelled area by the front door is perfect for boules.

The east terrace has plenty of space, where you can entertain up to twelve in style.
There’s a large custom-built barbecue – and the kitchen is only a few paces away, so catering is totally effortless.
Or just take it easy on one of the comfortable chairs, admire the view, sample the local rosé and breathe in the fresh country air.

If you are feeling a little more energetic, there are plenty of things to do around the house – table tennis, badminton, table football and – of course – boules.
